The recipes aren't mine. The Captain America Cake isn't vegan. But I was really proud of how these cakes turned out and just wanted to share some pictures.
My oldest son turned 4 and is OBSESSED with superheroes, especially Captain America. He doesn't like cake so we normally just do ice cream for his birthday. But I got the crazy idea to make him and ice cream cake and it was a lot of work but at the same time really easy. It was a lot of work because I made it a lot of work. I have NEVER seen a cake go so fast. The children were like locusts. I didn't even get a picture of the inside (which was red, white, and blue layers) because by the time the hands demanding cake were gone, the cake was also gone. And it was a huge cake.

**Pre icing job. I made a white cake and dyed one layer blue and put a layer of strawberry ice cream in between because that is my son's favorite ice cream.**

**I am definitely an amateur cake baker. I don't have any fancy tools, hence the mess, but it was fun and everyone said it was delicious. I used some of his little toys and left over Easter candy (he got a Captain America Egg in his basket) for the decorations.
My baby turned one. We joke that he is Superman because his name is Clark. So my oldest insisted he have a Superman cake. His didn't turn out as well because I didn't have a lot of time and it was a smash cake so I didn't care as much.
