Kiwi Kooler Smoothie

The other day, someone asked me if I ever put kiwis in my smoothies.
The answer is yes. Kiwis may be small but they are delicious and are kind of like avocados: they are green, you can't eat the skin (technically you can, but it doesn't taste very good), and somehow they are all hard and then all super soft at the same time and need to be eaten ASAP and smoothies are a great way to use a couple of them to combat that problem.

I won't lie. I had never thought to put kiwis in a smoothie until a year or so ago when I was at Costco, yes Costco. They had a man there who was doing a demo for Blendtec or Vitamix, I don't remember which one, and I was talking to him about the smoothie he made and he mentioned putting kiwis in it. My mind was blown. So I took a page out of the Costco Sample Guy's book and started putting kiwis IN my smoothies, not use ON TOP of smoothie bowls, but they are very good that way too.
Per usual, this smoothie is very green because it is packed with vegetables. However, there are no greens in this because I was out of them. I am sure you could throw some spinach in because that doesn't change the flavor, you might get a deeper green instead of this really bright, vivid green that I got. I won't lie, when my kids were drinking it and it was all over their faces, I thought they were covered in snot for half a second. And I debated calling it Snotty Smoothie or something like that, but that is not very appetizing...hopefully I didn't ruin your appetite. I know I didn't ruin mine because I just paused to go get a bowl of cereal.
