But it's green....
I know. How can pumpkin spice be green? Trust me, it can. And it does. And it is delicious. Trust me. I am on the pumpkin band wagon with everyone else in the fall and I am not ashamed of it. I am the person hoarding all the canned pumpkin that makes it to the clearance aisle in January so I can still have pumpkin stuff in March and April. And then in March and April I am sad that I didn't buy more...I just wish that worked for pomegranates. I freeze cranberries to have later. I am OBSESSED with fall food. It is my favorite. Pumpkin, squash, cranberries, pomegranates, soup...I Love It All.
Throughout the years, I have made various versions of a pumpkin pie smoothie etc. but I think this is the first time I've done it as a protein bowl. This is packed with protein because there are garbanzo beans in it, trust me, you won't taste them, and protein powder. It is a great post workout snack. I would call it a meal, but I have to eat more that this for a meal unless I make it HUGE with a MILLION TOPPINGS. This serves two adults or one adult and two children in my case. As it is with all my food I post, this is child and baby approved. So try it out, your taste buds won't be sad.
