I'm alive. The holidays have been beyond crazy this year. But in a good way. We have worked really hard to keep the focus on Christ and family this year and it has been great. We've done a lot, but not so much that we are burned out and/or overwhelmed. I was talking to my husband last night asnd he said we've (meaning me) have been spot on this year. It really has been fun, but I am ready for the craziness to stop and go back to regular life.
So my blender bit the dust. Technically it still worked, but for over a month it sounded like there was something in the motor grating against it every time I used it, which is every day, usually multiple times. But Blendtec is awesome and sent me a new motor. Yay! I forgot o take a picture of the use amounts it was like 2700+ in 6 years. Dang. That is the equivalent of 1.25 uses EVERY DAY. Calculate in how much we travel.... = it is the most used thing in my house.
Anyway. I got it back and this was the first thing I made. And it is tasty. You can;t taste the celery or the cucumber - SCORE - but there is just an earthy undertone. I liked it. If you aren't into that, drizzle the top with some pure maple syrup. I did that for my husband and he couldn't tell and he will tell me if he doesn't like them.

Oh, and now the jar is leaking. I just submitted a claim, so we shall see. I will keep you updated.
