Tropi-kale Smoothie


I love smoothies. I drink one pretty much every day. I would say every day, but when I am out of town or out of produce (heaven forbid) sometimes I miss a day. But I would say 99% of days that I am in town, I have a green smoothie. For me, smoothies are a great way to get a lot of vegetables in my diet with how busy I am all the time. And luckily for me, my 12 month old son has loved them since about 6 months old and my husband likes them too (although I do have to add extra juice to make his sweeter.) But the very best part is that smoothies are so easy. Throw everything in a blender, push a button, and you are done. Healthy. Delicious. Quick. Easy. My style.


Ingredients

1/2 mango, peeled and pitted

1/2 c fresh squeezed orange juice

1 big leaf of kale

chia seeds

ice (if you want it colder)

Directions

1. Combine everything in a high power blender, I use Blendtec, and blend until smooth.

2. ENJOY
